Portfolio review
Clinical Radiology ST1How portfolio review works and how you will submit evidence.
Summary of changes to 2025-2026 recruitment
Candidates will submit a letter relating to the category their evidence fits with at the point of application.
A single piece of evidence is submitted per domain, you should submit all relevant pages for that single piece of evidence for the reviewer to assess.
There is an audit summary sheet to provide guidance for Domain 4.
Self-assessment/unverified score
As part of the Oriel application form you will be asked to complete an online coversheet which has your categories for your personal achievements for each domain, and the title of the evidence to be submitted.
The administrative team are unable to advise applicants what category they should select for each domain. We have attempted to clarify the wording of options and provide guidance on the website.
We understand experiences and achievements will not always fit neatly under one option, and the consultants/leads recognised this, you will need to employ your professional judgement to ascertain which of the available options is the most appropriate to the best of your knowledge and belief.
All categories and evidence will be reviewed by an assessor at interview. For any clarification if they have scored your category differently, they have 2 questions at interview they will use to get you to clarify your choices.
- Your self-assessment categories cannot be changed once your application has been submitted
- The recruitment administrative team are unable to provide guidance on the category you should select
- The recruitment administrative team are unable to change any categories at any stage of your application process
- Recruitment administrators will not be able to upload evidence on behalf of applicants and candidates are advised to use their best judgement in this regard
- Selecting categories is mandatory and failure to do so will result in your application being withdrawn
- If you have selected E for all categories you will not be invited to sit the MSRA
- Uploading evidence is mandatory and failure to do so will result in your application being withdrawn
- Submitted evidence will be scored by the pane. Where the evidence submitted does not match the category awarded the panel will ask for clarification of 2 domains maximum at interview
Uploading evidence
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to upload evidence of their achievements to Qpercom. See timeline for upload window dates.
Applicants will be provided with further instructions about how to upload evidence to Qpercom in due course. Applicants should ensure that they present the evidence in the requested format.
Failure to submit all evidence by the stated deadline will result in your application form being withdrawn and if you have booked an interview slot you will be notified by the recruitment team that your interview has been cancelled.
Please report any issues with uploading evidence prior to the deadline as once the deadline for submission has passed, applicant access will be withdrawn.
Evidence review
This will take place at interview as part of Station A. A single panel member will review your evidence in 10 minutes and score as per the guidance. They have 2 questions at part of station A to ask about your portfolio.
