There are different teams within NHSE that will contact you regarding your sponsorship:

  1. NHSE National Overseas Sponsorship Team – The NHSE National Overseas Sponsorship Team are the national team that issue all Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS) to doctors and dentists in training in England. The National Overseas Sponsorship Team hold the Sponsor Licence for NHSE and are required to update the United Kingdom Visas and Immigration (UKVI) on any changes to trainees’ circumstances to meet sponsor requirements.   2. Local NHSE Office, lead employers and UK Foundation Programme Office (UKFPO) complete the recruitment and selection process and need to be kept up to date with information regarding your sponsorship
  3. NHS Trust/Foundation School – The NHS Trust will be your employer; each trust will need to verify your right to work status and will therefore ask to see evidence of your Tier 2/Skilled Worker sponsorship.
