Scoring, ranking and offers

Following interview, you will receive a unique ranking and will be deemed successful or unsuccessful and will be informed of this via Oriel.

Self assessment

A minimum threshold has been applied and candidates self-scoring less than 19 points will not progress beyond the MSRA stage of the selection process.

We recommend reviewing the scoring criteria before applying and if your achievements score below 19 points please consider re-applying when achievements score 19 or above.

Multi Specialty Recruitment Assessment (MSRA)

Candidates that self-score 19 points and above will be ranked on their MSRA score.

The highest ranking 350 candidates will progress to the next stage of the selection process and their evidence folders will be reviewed and scored. The candidates not within that range will be held at this stage of the selection process and will not progress.

Verified self assessment score

The 350 evidence folders will be reviewed and the self-assessment verified by two assessors.

When all folders have been reviewed a second ranked list will be produced using solely the verified self assessment score.

The highest ranking 260 candidates will be invited to the next stage in the selection process which is the interview/assessment.

Candidate’s who’s verified score is below 20 will not progress and all other candidates will be held on the reserve list.

Interview/assessment

Candidates are required to achieve a minimum score of 40% and above within the assessment. Candidates that meet the minimum threshold and above will progress to the offer stage.

Offers

The total score for each candidate will be combined as listed below and candidates will be awarded a final rank based on this score.

The score from the MSRA will not be included within the total score.

• Evidence folder – Maximum score 50 points
• Online assessment – Maximum score 50 points

The posts will be allocated in rank order based on preference and will be issued through Oriel.
