Portfolio GP specialising in family planning, sexual health, dermatology and mental health

Karin graduated from the Medical University in Vienna and initially pursued a career in Medical Microbiology in Austria and Switzerland. She moved to London in 2008, where she completed all her postgraduate and GP training by 2014 including diplomas in Family Planning, Sexual Health (DFSRH) and Clinical Dermatology.

She runs family planning clinics in her GP surgery, as well as specialising in more difficult dermatological cases. Karin is Woman’s Health Lead at Lantum, a GP workforce platform, giving Woman’s Health talks across the country. She is an active member of the Faculty of Family Planning and Sexual Health as well as the Menopause Society.

Wanting to improve mental health services, she works as GP Clinical Lead for serious mental illness for Imperial College Health Partners, the local Academic Health Science Network in North West London. She has recently taken on a part-time role as Clinical Lead in the Community Independence Service (CIS) across the 3 central London boroughs. The service's main aim is to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions for frail and elderly people
