Surgery is a medical specialty that uses operative manual and instrumental techniques on a person to investigate or treat a pathological condition such as a disease or injury, to help improve bodily function, appearance, or to repair unwanted ruptured areas.

You will have the option to undertake training in the following specialties; Core Surgery, General Surgery, Trauma and Orthopaedics, ENT (ear, nose and throat), Urology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Paediatrics Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery.
