A guide to final selection scores for ST3 Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Important: Accuracy

Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information contained on this page. The information presented is accurate at the time of publication.

The final score for ST3 Obstetrics and Gynaecology consists of 2 elements.

  • Verified Self-Assessment score.
  • Online interview score.

The final score is used to rank eligible applicants and offers are then made in rank order.

You will be able to see a summary of your scores and your overall rank via your Oriel account following the release of initial offers.

Verified Self-Assessment Score

During the verification window, clinical assessors will review the evidence uploaded to the Self-Assessment portal with the responses given in the application form. The verified/amended scores will be available via the Oriel system following both the review and appeals process.

The maximum achievable raw score for this element is 31 marks. When weighted, this accounts for 20% of the overall total score.

You must achieve a minimum raw score of 10 in order to progress to the interview stage. Should you score below this threshold your application will be longlisted out prior to the evidence upload stage. Please note that it is not possible to amend your self-assessment score once submitted and so please ensure you chose the correct scoring option for each domain question prior to submitting your application.
